Freedom Park Celebrates Birthday
September 28th will be the 26th birthday of the creation of Freedom Park. The Freedom Park Conservancy is focused on keeping the Freedom Park clean and safe, enhancing its natural beauty and creating opportunities for fun, recreation, relaxation and learning in the park. We will be kicking off a Partnership program in September asking our neighbors to become a partner and support the park. Watch for details.
We also will celebrate in September with multiple opportunities to dine out (or order take out) from neighborhood restaurants who will donate 10% of their proceeds to Freedom Park Conservancy. The current list of restaurants and dates are:

September 12 – Wisteria 470 North Highland Ave 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm
September 16 – Fellini’s Pizza 909 Ponce De Leon Ave 11:30 am to 12 am
September 17 – La Fonda 923 Ponce de Leon Ave 11:30 am to 11:30 pm
September 19 – Kitty Dare 1129 Edgewood Ave 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
September 23 – Fellini’s Pizza 1634 McClendon Ave 11:30 am to 12:30 am
September 24 – La Fonda 1639 McClendon Ave 11:30 am – 11:30 pm
