From Natalyn’s Office:
Hello Neighborhood Leaders,Please extend the following request to your neighborhoods and if possible publish in your newsletters:Alonzo A. Crim High School, located at 246 Clifton St. SE is compiling a “Crim Closet.” The closet will be a place where the students, who may not have resources otherwise, may get some professional clothing for interviews, college visits and other occasions that may require professional attire. This endeavor is part of a larger program empowering students for the next steps beyond high school.Besides having access to the clothing closet, students learn customer service skills, business phone etiquette, interview skills, and career styling and grooming. Students also get assistance in job searching and setting up interviews. The program partners with several organizations that assist the students in learning these essential career skills. Partner organizations include Hartsville-Jackson International Airport, Morehouse College, Atlanta Police Department and Regions Bank. Please search your closets for any gently worn professional attire and donate! The school will accept your donations Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm each day. Ms. Theresa Mullins is the parent liaison coordinating the effort. She may be reached at 404-802-5830 for questions.Accepting:Suits (men and women)Dress slacksKhakisDress skirtsDress shirtsDress shoesBeltsThank you,Gina M.
