No nominations from the floor can be made after the LCN Oct. meeting.   Voting for officers will take place at the LCN Nov. 19 meeting.

 

Continuing appointed positions:   Annsley Klehr, LCN Education Chair, Naka Nathanial, LCN Representative, Freedom Park Conservancy; Ben Klehr; LCN Representative, Candler Park Conservancy; Robert Bryan Davis, LCN Representative, Clifton Sanctuary Ministries; Jennifer Silver, LCN Representative to the City of Atlanta Department of Films.

 

Proposed LCN donations for 2020 to be voted on at the Nov. 19th meeting:

Mary Lin Elementary School Partner         $1,000*

Zone 6 Police Precinct:                               $   400

Atlanta Firefighters Sta. 12 (on DeKalb):   $   400

The Clifton Sanctuary Ministries:               $   500

Candler Park/Lake Claire Security Patrol:  $   500

The Freedom Park Conservancy:                $   300

The Candler Park Conservancy:                  $   300

The Friends of Lake Claire Park:                $   300

Ponce de Leon Public Library                  $   300

Variances and zoning:

 

V-20-135:  457 Lakeshore Drive NE Applicant seeks a special exception to allow active recreation (swimming pool) in a yard adjacent to a street.

 

Z-20-69:   Ordinance by Councilmember Shook to amend the 1982 Atlanta Zoning Ordinance toprohibit short-term rentals (Airbnbs) in single family homes.
