NOTE: APD used a different format for reporting crime information to the neighborhood contacts for the period 12/15/13 through 1/25/14. The format was much less specific and included only the frequency of given types of crime for the entire Beat. Our Beat 608 in Zone 6 includes the following neighborhoods: Inman Park, Candler Park, Druid Hills and Lake Claire. Therefore, the following stats are for our entire Beat 608, and there is no way to tell which incidents occurred in Lake Claire. The report for the period 1/19-2/5/14 returned to the usual format.

NEW INFORMATION: Contact APD by dialing 911 from your home or cell phone for any/every incidence of crime or suspicious behavior. We were informed at the LCN meeting this week by Valencia Hudson from Natalyn Archibong’s office that it is no longer necessary to dial 404-658-6666 when using a cell phone. Tell the operator you’re in APD’s Zone 6, Beat 608 if your location does not automatically come up on the operator’s screen. IMPORTANT: If you have not yet registered your wired home security system with APD please do so immediately.
