Request to support a grant proposal to Park Pride to complete the next phase of the approved Lake Claire Park Master Plan.

- FoLCP is an advocacy group:
- We wrote a grant for the Marlbrook Park Entrance work, the playground sunshade, and this is our third: Stairs from the tennis plaza down to the playground, as there is currently a steep slope.
- We are working from the approved LCP Master Plan – Map shown.
- Request made to post the LC Master Plan to the LCN website. (This is on the Lake Claire Park page of the LCN Website for future reference.)
- Question about new steps into the park from Lakeshore, were these from the plan? No, these were done by the city due to hazardous conditions with the granite steps.
- Requesting Park Pride grant to provide: Stairs from the Tennis plaza from the entrance to the playground. $215,000 grant, matching with Park Pride. (We have money from Park Pride, Baktiari grant, LCN neighbors, Friends of LCP)
- Motion to support this grant: carries 18-0
