On behalf of DWM, Rockdale Pipeline is planning a full road closure of Marlbrook Dr NE between Hardendorf Ave NE and Harold Ave NE. The closure will be from 01/12/2026 to mid-February to allow for installation of a new sanitary sewer main and lateral. While work will be completed between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, a 24-hour road closure is required due to the location and type of work. The Traffic Control Plan is provided below.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Temporary Road Closure due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation Construction on
Marlbrook Dr. NE between Hardendorf Ave NE and Harold Ave NE
What: Temporary Road closure due to eight inch sewer main installation.
Where: Marlbrook Dr. NE between Hardendorf Ave NE and Harold Ave SE.
When: Monday, January 12, 2026 lasting approximately four to six weeks, weather
permitting. Operational Hours are Monday – Friday (Saturday if necessary &
approved) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments:
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone.
Residents residing in and near the work zone will
continue to have access to their homes. If businesses, schools, and places of
worship are near the work zone, they will continue to be accessible.
Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street.
The community will still be accessible regarding mail and package delivery,
emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any
reason, please proceed cautiously and avoid the area if possible.
Detour:
Motorists & Residents traveling west on Marlbrook Drive NE can turn left onto
Harold Avenue NE to make a right turn onto McLendon Avenue NE.
Motorists & Residents traveling north on Harold Avenue NE will turn left onto
Harriett Ave NE.
Motorists & Residents traveling south on Harold Avenue NE will turn right onto McLendon
Ave NE.
Motorists & Residents traveling east on Marlbrook Drive NE will turn right onto
Hardendorf Ave NE and then make a left turn onto McLendon Avenue NE.
Motorists & Residents traveling south on Hardendorf Avenue NE will make a right
turn onto Marlbrook Dr. NE or McLendon Ave NE.
