APD (Sgt Benjamin King): Nothing to report.
Valencia had no new issues to report other than that we will address the tree ordinance.
- Change in sanitation services.
- Alternating schedules of yard trimming and recycling.
- Let office know for extra containers.
- Costs for waste will not go down and will probably go up.
- Update on Dekalb Ave? Not put out to bid yet.
- Carol expressed concerns with the new tree ordinance proposal to Natalyn

Nancy (Communication) will send out update on email issues tomorrow. Website was down and emails did not work for approximately 1 week. We are looking into new hosting.
Pen – Fundraising : Online ordering for Lake Claire merchandise. Will be adding new merchandise to fine art America and there will be a link on the website. Other merchandise will remain the same.
Allison (candler park conservancy). Individuals can comment on survey (will send out) open til next Monday. Nancy will send. Draft submitted to urban design commission. Will be reviewed in April and may by neighborhood.

New online ordering system for Lake Claire merchandise: Pen Sherwood
Proposed Short-Term Rental Ordinance: Unlike the past proposed legislation, this allows a person to have up to 3 short-term rental properties. It requires a permit ($150 fee) and an 8% hotel/motel tax among other things. It also outlines what would happen should there be a violation to the permit.

City of Atlanta Planning Dept.’s latest draft of the new Tree Protection Ordinance.: Carol Holliday

1715/23 South ponce property.
The Atlanta Urban Design Commission will hear the latest proposal for the properties at 1715 and 1723 S Ponce (ref: CAO-20-261) at its February 24th meeting. The hearing will be via Zoom. Carol Holliday
