• 2016 dues reminder – $20 per household
• “SLOW DOWN” street signs available at the meeting. Signs are provided by PEDS, peds.org and Abbadabba’s, coolshoes.com
• Naka Nathaniel: candidate for the LCN representative to the Freedom Park Conservancy to replace Laura Hartt. Resident on Claire Dr. since 2009. Previously served as a member of the advisory committee for the Olmsted Linear Parks Alliance from 2011 to 2013. Also den leader for Cub Scout Pack 586 at Epworth.
• A representative from the COAN Splash project asking for a letter of support for their grant application to Park Pride.
• Informational presentation on proposed development on 1970 DeKalb Ave. No vote will be taken
• Announcement of upcoming election for LCN officers for 2017 at the Nov. meeting. The official slate is: Jim Rockaway, Treasurer; Nancy Dorsner, Communications, Carol Holliday, Planning and NPU rep.; Melissa Pressman, Environment; Sara Rockaway, Fundraising; Robin Singer, Zoning; Pen Sherwood, Safety; and Joe Agee, President. Other nominations can be made at the Oct. meeting. N.B.: All nominees will need to have attended at least 4 regular LCN meetings since Nov. 2015
