To address concerns about the November Variance for:
1761 S. Ponce

From November

The V-25-233 Variance application for 1671 South Ponce was presented by Karen Soorikian and Mark Arnold. The request was to increase the required floor area of the accessory structure in the back yard from 30% to 36% of the main structure.

Immediate neighbors expressed concerns about:
• loss of trees
• potential water drainage into the Frazer Forest
• effects on nearby homes
• noise and lighting from an added paddle ball court (not part of the variance request)

Due to these issues, Carol Holliday recommended delaying the variance request for a special LCN meeting in December so discussions with the owner could take place. The representatives agreed to the delay.
