City of Atlanta Town Hall Meetings re: Infrastructure

The City of Atlanta is proposing a $250 million Infrastructure Bond to pay for repairs to bridges, roads, traffic signals, buildings and sidewalks in 2015.

Atlanta officials are now seeking public input on what types of projects you’d like funded. The first round of town hall meetings starts soon.
Here’s the schedule of meetings. Please take the time to come and voice your opinion. All meetings are held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

June 25: Atlanta Metro State College, 1630 Metropolitan Pkwy. 30310

June 26: Peachtree Hills Recreation Center, 308 P’tree Hills Ave. 30305

June 30: Adamsville Recreation Center, 3201 MLK Jr Dr. 30311

July 1: John Birdine Recreation Center, 215 Lakewood Way 30315

July 8: Atlanta City Hall (Old Council Chambers), 68 Mitchell St. 30303

July 15: Drew Charter School, 301 East Lake Blvd. 30317

July 16: Meals on Wheels Northside Activity Ctr, 1705 Commerce Dr. 30318

The City of Atlanta has a $152 million backlog of broken sidewalks. Please ask Atlanta to make sidewalk repairs a funding priority. Your voice makes a difference.
