Reminder – the annual Lake Claire Holiday Arts Fair, a myriad of artists, crafters, and bakers, will be held again on porches throughout the ‘hood, on Saturday, December 3, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Starts 1/2 hour earlier than previously) Raindate is the next day, December 4. Come out and support artists, a great cause (the public schools), and have fun, eat great food (including new Mexican food truck as well as Haitian BBQ, meat & vegan hotdogs, hot chocolate at many tables, and more), hear a variety of music, and get a head start on your holiday shopping.

Draft of addresses are in the November Clarion, and an updated listing/maps will be at every location. Ranges east to west, from Sutherland Pl. and Southerland Terrace, down McLendon to Hardendorf, and north-south from Harriet to New York, including Land Trust plants and tshirts at 290 Arizona. Porta-Potties throughout. Bring the kids! Baby goats on Hardendorf and Mary Lin singers performing at 11:30 and 2:30. And thanks to our sponsors!

Sat. Dec. 3  Slow Flow Yoga with Jess Pfeffer of Real Connections, 9:00-10:00 am. $15/person (10% to LCCLT). Class will meet inside the (heated!) Gorilla Grill, so space is limited; pre-register.
Sat. Dec. 3  Drum Circle, 8:00-11:00 pm, $5 donation requested. Rain date: Sat. Dec. 17
Tues. Dec. 6  Walking Club with the Frazer Center, 1:00-2:00 pm. Walk from the Frazer Center to the Land Trust and back with members of the Center’s program for disabled adults. Ongoing every other Tuesday.
Thursday Dec. 8  Land Trust Board meeting, 7:00-8:00 pm. All are welcome! Contact info@LCCLT.org for a Zoom link.
Sun. Dec. 11  S’mores for All & Story Time with Ms. Ladybug, 3:00-5:00 pm. Join author and award-winning children’s educator Andrea Zoppo, a.k.a. Ms. Ladybug, for an interactive program featuring her first children’s book, Storm Bugs, all about what bugs do during a rainstorm. After the program everyone gets S’mores! (Vegan option available.) $15/family. Books will be available for sale.
Fri. Dec. 16  Caroling & Hot Chocolate with Girl & Boy Scouts, 5:30-7:30 pm. Join local Scout troops for hot chocolate (to go) at the Land Trust before caroling around the immediate area. If you can’t join us, come outside when you hear them and cheer on the kids.
Sat. Dec. 17  Community Work Day, 1:00-4:00 pm. Pizza follows. Rain date: Sat. Dec. 24.
Tues. Dec. 20  Walking Club with the Frazer Center, 1:00-2:00 pm.
